(This amendment provides $90,000 the first year in nongeneral fund appropriation to support anticipated costs associated with House Bill 1225 which permits Dominion Energy and Appalachian Power Company to file a proposed tariff with the State Corporation Commission (SCC) to provide utility owned and operated electrical distribution infrastructure to support electric vehicle charging stations. The bill also directs the SCC to initiate a rulemaking proceeding to determine the appropriate radial distance for such utility-owned fast-charging stations from privately-owned fast charging stations. This amendment is a placeholder until the fiscal impact statement is available.)
