Explanation

(This amendment provides an additional $1 million from the general fund each year to support the Jail Mental Health Pilot Program, and transfers $153,600 each year from the jail-based model addiction recovery program grant. The amendment also increases from $125,000 to $275,000 the amount of funding DCJS may use to administer the Jail Mental Health Pilot Program.)
