"QQQQQ. Effective July 1, 2026, the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall amend regulations to allow non-state intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disability (ICF-IIDs) to be limited to a Medicaid rate ceiling based on the highest filed rate paid to a state-operated ICF-IID the preceding state fiscal year. By September 1, 2026, DMAS will provide the Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and the Chair of the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee any revised estimated cost to implement a new reimbursement rate."

(This amendment provides funding and language to increase the Medicaid rates for non-state intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disability (ICF-IIDs) to that based on a state-operated ICF-IID.)
