Explanation

(This amendment modifies language in the introduced budget which delays the implementation of redesigned Medicaid behavioral health services until January 1, 2027. Language directs the Department of Medical Assistance Services to implement the new behavioral health services and rates beginning six months prior to the expected date on which the legacy services they replace will have ended to ensure continuity of care. It also changes the implementation date of the new services from January 1, 2027 to July 1, 2027.)
