Explanation

(This amendment provides $304,755 the first year and $107,200 the second year from the general fund and one position to support anticipated administrative costs for the Department of Taxation to implement the provisions of House Bill 760, which creates a home energy efficient tax credit. The cost estimates in this amendment are based on figures provided during the 2025 session for House Bill 2506 and will be updated as/if needed once the fiscal impact statement for the bill is produced.)
