Explanation

(This amendment adds $600,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2026 to this appropriation, for Planned Parenthood and its affiliates to ensure continuity of services to preserve access to essential reproductive and sexual health care for Medicaid patients served by these organizations in light of the federal Medicaid defunding provision of certain providers, following the passage of the federal H.R.1 (119th Congress, 2025).)
