Page 463, after line 21, insert:

"U. Out of the amounts included in this item, amounts estimated at $250,000 the first year and $500,000 the second year from the general fund shall be transferred to state agencies and institutions of higher education to effectuate the provisions of House Bill 439 of the 2020 General Assembly session."


(This amendment provides funding to pursuant to the passage of House Bill 439 which sets conditions under which a company must report to the Commissioner of Labor and Industry of its intention to relocate its call center and makes the company ineligible for state grants and tax credits for a five year period. The funding in the amendment is a placeholder until a detailed fiscal impact statement is finalized.)
