"U. Out of the amounts included in this item, amounts estimated at $400,000 the first year and $400,000 the second year from the general fund is available for transfer to state agencies and institutions of higher education to effectuate the provisions of House Bill 438 which adds post-traumatic stress disorder as a disease that is presumed as an occupational diseases under the Workers Compensation Act for firefighters and law enforcement personnel."


(This amendment provides funding pursuant to the passage of House Bill 438 of the 2020 General Assembly Session. The $400,000 annual funding request is a placeholder until a detailed estimated is finalized.)
