(This amendment provides $60,000 the first year from the general fund for anticipated costs associated with the Department of Emergency Management creating a plan to ensure training programs, public information and education regarding emergency services and disaster preparedness activities established and operated by state and local agencies are designed to include and reach individuals with limited English proficiency. The funding would be used to hire one employee to lead the plan drafting process. This is a placeholder amendment until a final fiscal impact statement for House Bill 420 is produced.)
