Explanation

(This amendment provides $6.6 million the first year and $7.2 million the second year from the general fund to eligible small school divisions that have a total membership of less than 10,000 students and have had a ten percent decline or more in their average daily membership from 2010 to 2019. After the application of the Extended Enrollment Loss Supplement in this amendment, the No Loss payments proposed in the introduced budget would be reduced by $2.1 million in the first year and $1.7 million in the second year.)
