Out of the amounts included in this item, amounts estimated at $3,666,700 the first year and $7,419,213 the second year from the general fund is available for transfer to state agencies and institutions of higher education to effectuate the provisions of House Bill 395 which increases the minimum wage beginning July 1, 2020."


(This amendment provides $3.7 million in fiscal year 2021 and $7.4 million in fiscal year 2022 to fund the impact on state agencies from the increase in the minimum wage. A companion amendment within the Department of Medical Assistance Services reflects the impact on the Medicaid from the increase.)
