Explanation

(This amendment provides an additional $1.0 million GF in FY 2018 for the New Economy Workforce Credential Grant. Chapter 836 has $12.5 million GF appropriated for this purpose over the biennium, $7.5 million GF in FY 2018. This amendment would bring the total to $8.5 million GF for FY 2018. It is the intent of this amendment that Item 144 be set out and the embedded language be updated with the new amounts.)
