A. Contingent on the passage of House Bill 1343 of the 2016 General Assembly, the Virginia College Building Authority is authorized to issue, pursuant to § 23-304 § 23.1-3130 et seq., Code of Virginia, bonds in the amount of $57,500,000 the first year, plus amounts to fund related issuance costs and other financing expenses for lab renovations and enhancements and / or research equipment related to higher education research.

B. Out of the amounts appropriated in this item, the project at the University of Virginia to Renovate Space for the Center for Human Therapeutics shall be funded.
