Explanation

(This amendment adds $25,000 the first year from the general fund for the fiscal impact of House Bill 1846 which requires the Department of Health Division of Vital Records to accept the filing of death certificates at a local health district regardless of where the death occurred. The agency will develop a new drop down or toggle on their website to capture where a death certificate will be filed for tracking and other purposes necessary.)
