Explanation

(This amendment adds $100,000 the second year from the general fund to restore funds in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for medical transportation of decedents. This funding was reduced in fiscal year 2016 as one of the agency's budget reduction strategies, however, some of the district offices are experiencing difficulties with the transport of decedents in a timely manner.)
