Page 72, following line 33, insert:

"Included in the amounts for this Item is $50,000 the first year and $50,000 the second year from the general fund for costs incurred in monitoring the reporting of animals euthanized by private animal shelters in accordance with the provisions of Senate Bill 6 of the 2016 General Assembly.".

Explanation

(This amendment provides direct general fund support for the Office of the State Veterinarian in implementing the provisions of SB 6.)
