Explanation

(This amendment provides $500,000 from the general fund each year to local sexual and domestic violence agencies to match new federal funding made available through the Victims of Crime Act. Local sexual domestic violence agencies provide crisis, trauma, advocacy, and community engagement services intended to improve outcomes for victims of sexual and domestic violence.)
