Explanation

(This amendment provides an appropriation to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund to reflect the estimated impact on utilization of beds in the Commonwealth’s Adult Correctional Centers resulting in changes in criminal sentencing pursuant to House Bill 425, which prohibits a person who knows or has reason to know that he is in the federal Terrorist Screening Database of the Terrorist Screening Center administered by the FBI from purchasing, possessing, or transporting a firearm.)
