Explanation

(This amendment provides $200,000 each year from the general fund to support the purchase of EpiPens in the public schools. The allocation is intended to provide help to offset a portion of the estimated annual local cost currently incurred by school divisions in compliance with the requirements in § 22.1-274.2. There are two companion amendments in Items 137 and 138 for offsetting savings.)
