Explanation

(This amendment saves $246,780 the first year and $394,092 the second year from the general fund by replacing the proposed new funding formula for the Academic Year Governor's Schools (AYGS) with another calculation formula. This formula would provide an additional 30 percent add-on amount to the regular tuition amount calculated to the existing full-day AYGS programs.)
