(This amendment provides funding for additional assisted living residents who become eligible for an assisted living supplement as a result of implementing a rate increase for the Auxiliary Grant Program. A companion amendment in Item 357 increases the auxiliary grant payment from $833 to $998 per month ($958 to $1,147.70 per month in Northern Virginia) in FY 2003. Another amendment in Item 325 would fund the impact on Medicaid eligibility.)
