"H.H.  The Department of Medical Assistance Services shall amend the Medicaid State Plan to provide for 12-month continuous coverage for children enrolled as Medically Indigent."

Explanation
(This amendment changes the current Medicaid requirement that families with children immediately report all changes in circumstances that would affect eligibility. Children would remain eligible for a full 12 months of uninterrupted coverage. The intent is to avoid on and off eligibility between Medicaid and FAMIS (the new health insurance plan for poor children) as a result of fluctuations in family income.)
