Explanation
(This amendment provides $150,000 each year and 2.0 FTE positions from special funds to strengthen the debt collection activities of the Office of the Attorney General. It is anticipated that these additional activities will result in the collection of an additional $1,000,000 each year on behalf of state agencies, of which the Division of Debt Collection will retain $150,000 each year. A companion amendment to the Revenue Page captures the remaining $850,000 each year as general fund revenue.)
