Explanation
(This amendment is one of four companion amendments that eliminates the agency and transfers appropriations to the newly created independent human rights agency, the Virginia Office for Protection and Advocacy, contingent upon passage of House Bill 9.)

Included in the Federal Trust appropriations are amounts estimated at $78,705 the first year and $78,705 the second year to pay for statewide indirect cost recoveries of this agency. Actual recoveries of statewide indirect costs up to the level of these estimates shall be exempt from payments into the general fund, as provided in § 4-2.03 of this act. Amounts recovered in excess of these estimates shall be deposited in the general fund.
