Page 334, after line 7, insert:
"A.  It is the intent of the General Assembly that localities eligible for reimbursement from the Wireless E-911 Fund be reimbursed within thirty days of submitting required documentation of eligible expenses.  The Secretary of Technology shall report to the Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees prior to December 1 each year on the status of requests from local governments for  reimbursement and subsequent reimbursements made from the Fund."

Explanation
(This amendment requires the Secretary of Technology to ensure prompt reimbursements to local governments for E-911 systems.)
