Explanation
(This amendment restores general funds for domestic violence services that were removed in the development of the base budget for the Department of Social Services and replaced with federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) funds. In addition, it restores language contained in Chapter 1073 of the 2000 Acts of Assembly that specifies what types of services can be covered by the grants.)
