Explanation
(This amendment provides federal TANF funds as supplemental payments to families on welfare, in an amount equal to child support payments collected on their behalf. Currently, a maximum of $50 per month is passed on to the family. Any amount collected in excess of $50 is returned to the state and federal agencies for administration of the program.)
