Explanation
(This amendment restores the Literary Fund for use for school construction loans. House Bill 30, as introduced, diverts $86.0 million the first year and $81.0 million the second year to pay for teacher retirement, thereby freeing up the general funds. This amendment would restore the general funds for teacher retirement.)
