Explanation
(This amendment directs the Judicial Department to reduce criminal fund allocations in an amount that reflects decreased costs due to the creation of a new public defender office serving the City of Norfolk. A companion amendment to Item 39 creates the new public defender office. These amendments are contingent upon final passage of House Bill 242.)
