Explanation
(This amendment requires the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to revise their estimate of the cost for the confinement and treatment of violent sexual predators in a facility currently providing comprehensive and intensive forensic services to violent mentally disabled patients. The introduced budget assumed confinement and treatment on the Western State Hospital campus in Staunton, which includes the Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents.)
