Explanation
(This amendment eliminates funding for the Virginia Institute of Forensic Science and Medicine. A companion amendment in Item 305 provides $50,000 for Work Force Transition Act costs associated with the elimination of this funding. A portion of the funds for the Institute were used to hire two full-time positions in the Medical Examiner's Office to provide training for the Institute.)
