Explanation
(This amendment provides funding for the Civil Air Patrol to meet the need for a facility to serve as a base of operations for its emergency services missions and to serve as a base for its other missions at the Roanoke Regional Airport. The facility would serve as a base of operations for search and rescue missions, a training facility and hanger space for the Roanoke search aircraft.)
