Explanation
(This amendment would reflect the impact to state and federal funding in the Comprehensive Services Act funding for delaying the date residential services would become Medicaid-eligible. Localities would also have to budget an additional $2,675,986 in local funding that would have been saved through the use of Medicaid. The true impact of the change may be greater if the federal Health Care Financing Administration links the start-up of Medicaid funding for therapeutic foster care to residential services.
