It is the intent of the General Assembly that any acquisitions by gift, transfer or purchase be limited, consistent with the authorization contained in Item 363, to property within or contiguous to The Cedars, , , Bald Knob, Deep Run Ponds, , Buffalo Mountain, Antioch Pines, Magothy Bay, Pinnacle, Lyndhurst Ponds, Mount Joy Ponds, Camp Branch Wetlands, Chesnut Ridge, Cleveland Barrens, Difficult Creek, Pedlar Hills Glades, Poor Mountain, South Quay Sandhills, and Grafton Ponds Natural Area Preserves. In addition, the department is authorized to accept donations of property within Stafford County contiguous to existing Natural Area Preserves.
