A. Out of this appropriation, $257,500 the first year and $257,500 the second year in nongeneral funds is designated to support technology education initiatives, including information technology degree programs and technology training for faculty and students.


B. Out of this appropriation, the expenditure of $787,986 the first year and $1,484,543 the second year from the general fund and $630,828 the first year and $1,261,657 the second year from nongeneral funds to address base operating needs and student enrollment and improve degree completion is contingent upon the passage into law of the provisions contained in Enactment Nos. 2, 3 and 5 of Part 5 of introduced House Bill 30/Senate Bill 30 of the 2004 Session. The allotment of these funds is subject to the purposes and conditions described in Item 135, paragraph D.


C. Out of this appropriation, the expenditure of $75,000 the first year and $50,000 the second year from the general fund for the Virginia Economic Bridge is contingent upon the passage into law of the provisions contained in Enactment Nos. 2, 3, and 5 of Part 5 of introduced House Bill 30/Senate Bill 30 of the 2004 Session.
