Out of this appropriation, $25,000 is designated in the first year and $25,000 in the second year to pay for expenses arising from the need to maintain and repair the existing facility. These amounts shall be derived from the facility’s Virginia Veterans Care Center Facility Maintenance Fund, established in § 2.2-1904, Code of Virginia, and shall revert to that fund when not used to maintain or repair the care center. No individual project paid for under this provision shall exceed $20,000.
