The Director, Department of Planning and Budget, is authorized to transfer any remaining balance in project 16158 to this Item. Furthermore, there is hereby appropriated out of the funds made available to this state under Section 903 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. Section 1103), as amended, the sum of $187,188 of Reed Act funds, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be used, under the direction of the Virginia Employment Commission and subject to the requirements of § 60.2-305 of the Code of Virginia, for the purpose of acquiring land and erecting a building thereon for the use of the Virginia Employment Commission and for such improvements, facilities, paving, landscaping, and fixed equipment as may be required for its proper use and for operation by the Virginia Employment Commission.
