A. Organizations that are primarily of historic significance are underlined in the list set out in paragraph G of this Item and appropriations in this Item for such organizations shall be administered by the Department of Historic Resources, under the provisions of §§ 10.1-2211, 10.1-2212, and 10.1-2213, Code of Virginia. The Department of Planning and Budget shall effect an appropriation transfer from this Item to the Department of Historic Resources for that purpose. All others shall be administered by the Department of Planning and Budget under the provisions of § 2.1-394.1, Code of Virginia, and § 4-5.07 of this act. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 4-5.07, and unless otherwise specified in this Item, the matching amounts for grants funded from this Item may be in cash or in-kind. B. Prior to the distribution of any funds administered by the Department of Planning and Budget under § 2.1-394.1, Code of Virginia, the organization or entity shall make application to the Department in a format prescribed by the Department.
