(This amendment provides $884,800 GF the first year to Amherst County to support Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest and its efforts to stabilize and restore the 1857 Slave Dwelling, a threatened and deteriorating two-story brick building originally inhabited by enslaved African American residents of the plantation.)
