"WWWW. Effective July 1, 2024, the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall have the authority to amend the State Plan for Medical Assistance to rebase per diem rates paid to therapeutic group homes (TGH) that accept children requiring early and periodic, screening, diagnosis, and treatment (EPSDT) services. Such rebasing shall use the provider's audited cost per day from a cost report. DMAS shall conduct a rebasing, as needed or upon the request of a TGH provider accepting children requiring EPSDT services."



Explanation

(This amendment adds $1.7 million from the general fund and $2.0 million from nongeneral funds each year and language providing the Department of Medical Assistance Services with the authority to rebase rates for therapeutic group homes that accept children requiring early and periodic, screening, diagnosis, and treatment (EPSDT) services.)
