"L. The Department of Human Resource Management shall conduct an annual survey of state employees to determine satisfaction in key areas including but not limited to their job role and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, professional development and personal growth, workplace environment and experience, and department and agency management and leadership. The results will be reported to the Governor and the General Assembly by September 1 of each year. This appropriation includes $100,000 the first year and $100,000 the second year from the general fund to support this activity.".



Explanation

(This amendment provides funding to conduct an annual survey of state employees to determine satisfaction in key areas including but not limited to their job role and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, professional development and personal growth, workplace environment and experience, and department and agency management and leadership. The results will be reported to the Governor and the General Assembly annually. This is a recommendation of the General Assembly Commission on Employee Retirement Security and Pension Reform.)
