Explanation

(This amendment provides $146,880 from the general fund each year in order to include the Line of Duty health insurance program those dependents who were covered on a Line of Duty recipient's health insurance coverage prior to July 1, 2017 but who were not legally eligible for the program. In addition to the general fund impact, the language would result in a local fund impact estimated at approximately $350,000 each year.)
