Explanation

(This amendment decreases funding $500,000 from the general fund the first year and $500,000 from the general fund the second year and eliminates the Office of the Secretary of Technology. There is a companion budget amendment that redirects the funds and establishes a Secretariat for Coastal Protection and Flooding Adaptation and is contingent upon passage of House Bill 345.)
