Explanation

(This amendment provides an appropriation to the Corrections Special Reserve Fund to reflect the estimated impact on utilization of beds in the Commonwealth’s Adult Correctional Centers resulting in changes in criminal sentencing pursuant to House Bill 208, which would expand the definition sexual battery to include all instances of sexual abuse committed against the will of the victim but without force, threat, intimidation, or ruse.)
