"2. Out of the E-911 Wireless Fund, the Department shall distribute $3,311,708 the first year and $3,311,708 the second year to provide level funding to those localities whose share in the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) funds will be reduced by the new funding distribution formula starting July 1, 2018."  



Explanation

(This amendment provides $3.3 million from the nongeneral fund each year from the E-911 wireless fund to hold harmless those localities who will experience a decrease in funding from the Public Safety Answering Point fund.)
