Explanation
(This amendment reduces $400,000 from a $2.1 million GF allocation the second year for inpatient mental health services to indigent children previously served by the adolescent units at Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute (SWVMHI) at Marion. Because a separate amendment to Item 322 restores funding and position levels for the facility, these services will not be needed for this adolescents. It is the intent of the General Assembly that the restoration of this funding shall be properly accounted for in calculating the revised amount of savings from executive management actions contained in Items 322.05 and §4-1.08 during the enrollment of HB 1600/SB 850, as adopted by the 2009General Assembly.)
