Explanation
(This amendment amends language included in the introduced budget to modify the distribution of excess fees collected by the Clerks of Circuit Courts. The language included in the introduced budget increased the Commonwealth's share of these funds from 1/3 to 2/3s. This amendment sets the state share at 50 percent. This proposal would decrease the net revenue increase from $6.0 million to $3.0 million in the second year.)
