Explanation
(This amendment restores the appropriation for the Enterprise Zone Grant program that was removed in the Governor's proposed amendments to the budget. House Bill 1600 includes reductions of $1.1 million the first year and $2.25 million the second year to the program, reducing it to $13.2 million by the end of the biennium. It is the intent of the General Assembly that the restoration of this funding shall be properly accounted for in calculating the revised amount of savings from executive management actions contained in Item 111 and § 4-1.08 during the enrollment of House Bill 1600/Senate Bill 850, as adopted by the 2009 General Assembly.)
