Explanation
(This amendment increases $23.1 million in nongeneral funds from Medicaid revenues to reflect the restoration of funds to continue operations at the Southeastern Virginia Training Center. Companion amendments in Items 306 and 327 restore Medicaid appropriations for the facility and modify language specifying funding and positions that are allocated to the facility. It is the intent of the General Assembly that the restoration of this funding shall be properly accounted for in calculating the revised amount of savings from executive management actions contained in § 4-1.08 during the enrollment of House Bill 1600/Senate Bill 850, as adopted by the 2009 General Assembly.)
