Explanation
(This amendment provides nongeneral funds to implement a new financial management system. Implementing a new financial management system will allow for significantly improved management of financial resources, and will provide the operational flexibility and expandability to meet the needs of a growing agency with diverse operations. The nongeneral fund revenue for this amendment will be derived from Medicare, Medicaid, third party insurance payments, and private payments for individuals at the Veterans Care Centers.)
